Getting a new project off the ground just ain’t easy, but this one came at the perfect time. When Pro Edge Media approached me about putting together this production, I had almost concluded a television deal with a station in Philadelphia. There were restrictions on it, however, including airing time and other aspects that I felt were too confining.

The beauty of this sort of show is not lost on me as a viewer. It was only recently that I purchased my first iPod, although I had been enjoying Internet programming for some time. Initially bought to supply me with music when I went to the gym, I soon found myself searching for both audio and video original content in a broad array or areas. I sorted through a lot of stuff and have established a portfolio of shows to which I subscribe. I’ve now gotten to the point that I am watching very little commercial television, confining my choices to programs that I can enjoy when I want access to them.

There are a couple of really good productions on the subject of beer out there and I urge you to check them out. I feel our show will be unique and take you to places and events that you might not ever be able to attend. We’ll also meet the movers and shakers in the world of brewing and the culinary arts. You’ll even recognize a celebrity or two along the way.

Our first few episodes will chronicle our visit at the Atlantic City Beer Festival, which attracted over 12,000 attendees in 2008, in the event’s thrid year of existence. Would you pay over $100 for a bottle of beer? I’ll have a taste test of one that has to be tried to be believed.

Write me with your comments and suggestions for future shows. We may not be able to honor all requests, but we’ll certainly consider everything.

Let’s enjoy the ride.
