15 May
If you thought that Congress wasted its time on unimportant matters, think again! Twenty years ago, Congress recognized the first Saturday of May as National Homebrew Day. We chat with Mark Maxwell, president of the Gloucester County (NJ) Homebrewers Club at his groups annual brew event. So what’s it like trying to get a new brewery started? Ben Battiata, founder of Turtle Stone Brewery has the concept in place, now he has to deal with a mountain of regulations before the idea comes to fruition. We’ll continue to check on his progress and update you on his status until his first beer is ready to drink.
